Beyond The Grave Part 3

There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. Matthew 28:2-3 NIV

A violent earthquake can cause change to the surrounding landscape. The movement of a large stone can change perspective as to what is seen.

When one comes to the Lord, a change begins within. The stone which has blocked spiritual awareness to God and all He is starts to move out of the way, and the soul begins to see the awesome beauty and wonder of God at work within His creation. The landscape of what is seen by the new believer changes. Focus begins to move away from things of this world and toward purpose in life by serving God. What once was dead, spiritual awareness, comes to life. A sense of freedom starts to fill the soul. The soul is coming out of the grave!
