`" "...If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.'' 1 Chronicles 18:21.

In a spiritual contest between Prophet Elijah and the Prophets of Baal, who were not less than four hundred, the righteous Prophet who represented the Lord God of Israel made the statement above to the people of God.

He put two options before them to choose one. He wanted them to choose either life or death; between safety and destruction.

It is pertinent to choose one out of the two. Not only that, but choosing the right thing or way. This is because the end of a choice matters most.

That is the reason the Jews confronted with the two options were speechless. Confused people are always dumb especially when they are faced with the truth. This happens when they have "enjoyed" the wrong thing for a long time. In other words, it may be that they have stayed too long doing the wrong thing or walking in the wrong way thus finding it somehow difficult to change to the right thing or way.

That is the reason they are always dumbfounded when offered a better option. May the Lord give all those who are logged into such error the grace to make the right decision to turn to the right path in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The end of a thing or journey matters most. What will be the end of the way you are walking in? Have you known Christ, the Way? Then, continue in Him. If you have not, there is an urgent need to know Him and accept Him as the Lord and Savior of your life. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
