Lord God,

Today feels like too much for me,

I want to cry but no tears will come,

How can I find hope to keep going?

How can I sing when my heart is broken,

And it feels like everything around me is falling apart?

I am overwhelmed just thinking about making it through the day,

And I don’t even know how to ask for help,

How much grief can one person bear,

Before it is too much?

Lord, I need you now,

Please be my comfort,

I don’t have anything else I can turn to now,

Remind me that in your potters hands,

I am loved,

And I am safe.
