“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for  a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:11-13 NIV

By nature, we are full of sin, yet we will provide for our children and friends. God, conversely is by nature Holy. He loves us so much more than we would ever believe possible. He wants us to be with Him for eternity, and sent His Son to be the ultimate sacrifice. He forgives our sins. But, we must believe in the sacrifice His Son made on our behalf. We must be obedient to the Lord. In order to live the life He wishes us to live, the Father sends the Holy Spirit to indwell those who belong to the Son. What an amazing gift we have, God living inside of us. How much we are loved by the Father and the Son!
