Lose Your Life

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. Luke 9:24 NIV

Too many believe that this life is all they have, and so they will go for the gusto, seeking to attain any and everything possible. But the truth is that there is a life beyond that which we spend on this earth. The afterlife is eternal and will be spent either in the presence of God or in eternal torment. Each of us will make a decision, either sacrifice this life for an eternal life with God, or endulge in that which is of this world and spend eternity tormented. Why can’t we have both a life here on earth and eternal life with God? That which is of this world is in direct contrast to that which is of God. Believers pray the Lord’s kingdom will come and His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. What shall you do to live your life on earth?
