You Are Loved

It’s Valentine’s Day, and many will express their devotion and unsurpassed affection to their loved ones. And guess what? We should do this. However, what of the ones who do not feel loved? What about the ones who hide pain in the weirdest places? What of the ones who need to know they are loved and they do not have to prove themselves? Somebody won't receive chocolates, flowers, or even a hug. But they need to know God loves them unconditionally.

Beloved, the first time I heard this song was in 2015, it touched me profoundly, and I could not keep it to myself. So, I am doing something different today to celebrate this lovely time of the year. This song may not be for you. However, should you know of someone this song will minister to, please send them this because God loves them as much as He does us. And they need to know that.

We’ve become masters at hiding our pain. We pretend we’re fine when our heart aces because we’re afraid to show our actual feelings. We wear masks, putting on a façade while being torn apart. Declaring I’m good, it’s well, and I’m blessed; yet we’re broken souls with smiling faces.

Let’s get honest and surrender this battle of our emotions. It’s a fight we can’t handle alone. Beloved, look to the hills where our help comes. (Psalms 121:1).

He’s given angles to walk beside us in the storm. (Psalms 34:7).

Come out from hiding and be someone you’re not, His healing virtue is here to deliver you. (Luke 6:19).

He didn’t make us superheroes, flawless, and without shortcomings. So, when it feels like something’s missing, If it hurts but you can’t find healing, Just look up, and know you are loved. God loves you too much to abandon you. You are never alone, but you are loved.

I pray this heartwarming song by Star’s Go Dim, You Are Loved, stirs your heart to find somebody to share it with. Happy Valentine's Day, Beloved!
