God Sent You, so Walk Like He Sent You

Walk in the authority and confidence God has given you. He believes in you, so you should as well. Have faith in God and what the Lord chooses you to do. He is with you! Countless people throughout the Bible did not see themselves as God saw them. We know Moses’ story when he made excuses to the Lord about going to Pharaoh. Because Moses had a speech impairment and saw himself as unqualified, he believed he was useless. (Exodus 3:7-12; 4:10-17; 5:1-3).

But God had a plan and knew Moses better than he knew himself. He understood his disability, which became God’s purpose for performing the unimaginable through him. With miraculous signs and wonders, He shows Moses who He is. Over time, Moses obeys the Lord. He walked in the authority God gave him and told Pharoah to let the Israelites go. After ten plagues touching all of Egypt except the city of Goshen, where the Israelites lived, Pharoah yielded and obeyed the Word of the Lord.

Whatever position stands before you, you must walk through that door to achieve victory. Like Pharoah, your boss may seem intimidating. The task assigned could be impossible with unwilling hearts to work with you. Challenges could arise that you never expected. Even opposition within your team will stretch your faith. And your own inabilities may scare you. However, when you trust Him and do whatever He directs you to, His plan will unfold. And resistance will be futile. (Exodus 5:4-23; 6:10-13, Exodus Chapter 14).

He never said walking in that room would be easy. However, once Moses drowned out the voices in his head and stopped overthinking, God performed miracle after miracle. He protected His people while trouble engulfed Egypt. God chose you for this moment to demonstrate the power of trusting in Him. The Lord will give you the strength to persevere. His Word shall direct you, and His supporters will walk beside you. God has put His Word in your mouth. His orders are clear because He sent you, so walk into that room like He has sent you. God has already worked everything out in your favor. (Exodus 4:14-15, Romans 8:28).
