Be Led By The Spirit

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. Romans 8:14

All morning what I am hearing in my heart is all about the Holy Spirit.  I realize that I must let go.  I thought I had let go, and yes I have.  What the Holy Spirit is showing me is that letting go is totally yielding myself and my impulse of leading my own life, I must yield to God’s will in all matters.  I must yield to his leading. To be seen by the Lord as His son or daughter one must be led by the Spirit of God (Isn’t that what the above scripture says?). 

This submission is not a hit and miss thing.  Nor is it a doing that today, but be led on your own accord tomorrow.  No.  Being led by the Spirit is being in relationship with Him.  Being in relationship with Him so much to the point that you no longer choose to do your will.  You yield knowingly and purposefully to the leading of the Spirit of God (because you recognize that the Spirit is showing you what to do) in all matters no matter what others are doing.

Being led by the Holy Spirit is being in fellowship and relationship with Him.  How else will you know him?  To know him, you know His character.  First and far most, to know his character you must be born again and sealed by Him. You must be born of water and of the Spirit.  To know the Holy Spirit you must study the word and learn about him. There are many scriptures concerning the Holy Spirit. Learn and know the word.  Experience the fellowship of the Spirit.  Invite Him into your life as the One who leads you, as the One who Counsels you, as the One who teaches and leads you into all truth.  Jesus said, “I will send the Comforter and he will lead you into all truth.” John 16:13 

Purposefully acknowledge Him as a part of the God head; as a person, and yield to his leading in all things.  Let your deepest desire be to not grieve him nor quench the Holy Spirit, but be in obedience and yielded to His will.   In all things be led by the Spirit.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.  2Co 13:14

“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:12-15
