My Heart Cries Out
Sometimes my heart feels all broken,
And nearly crushed, beyond repair!
I can’t see all Your purposes;
And my heart begins to despair.
But oh my dearest Father, God,
I have nobody else but You;
No one else, on Whom I can lean;
E’en one, Who can carry me through!
Please don’t let me go from You, Lord!
Don’t ever hide Your face from me!
But change me into Your likeness,
That others, my Jesus can see!
Wipe my tears; carry me, Father,
For my small bit of strength feels gone!
Please heal the deep wounds within,
And fill my heart again, with song.
Teach me the way to go, oh Lord,
And help me to fully trust You!
Oh, keep now my feet from stumbling,
And help me to walk in Your truth!
Father, I give You my burdens,
For they are too heavy to hear!
But hear my heart’s cries, Abba Father,
And turn your ear to my prayer!
Oh strengthen my hands, dear Father,
And help me to ever be true!
Strengthen my faith and trust, my God,
As I walk this valley, with You!
Lord, I know You’ll never leave me,
And that You are my truest friend!
I’m looking to You, as Your child,
Knowing You’ll keep me to the end!
Remind me of Your promises,
For I know they stand, ever sure!
Cleanse me, change me, fill me, Jesus,
And please make my heart fully pure!
I know Your love for me is great,
Even when walking through the fire!
For You seek to make me like You,
Which is my heart’s deep desire!
So I surrender all to You,
And turn my eyes upon Your face!
I find Your sweetest peace, Father,
As You pour out Your abundant grace!
Thank You for this valley, dear Lord;
For being with me all the way!
Help me lean fully on You, Lord,
And keep me close to You, each day!

Psalm 130:1-5
Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Thank you ever so much, Faith. Beautiful poem and so honest, and for me very appropriate and helpful. In Jesus, John.
