Peace In God’s Presence

There’s a quiet resting place,
Where my soul may dwell, secure;
Resting in my Savior’s love;
Trusting Him, Who’s ways are sure!

I find rest in God’s presence
As I walk with Him each day;
His perfect peace, my comfort,
As I seek His face, and way.

The storms of life may batter,
But His arms are strong enough,
To carry and sustain me,
Though the journey may be tough.

At times when I’m distracted,
And lose sight of His dear face,
Then He seeks to draw me back,
Pouring out mercy and grace.

God helps my soul to worship,
As I choose to trust and praise;
And I feel His presence near,
For He’s with me all my days.

Such peace and rest in Jesus
Is an anchor for my soul.
He gives me faith to believe,
And makes me completely whole.

These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.


Definitely not something I’ve fully attained, but something God is teaching me!
