Words That Condemn, Or Show Love

How easy it is
To speak and condemn,
But not act in love,
To our fellow men.

We see them do wrong,
And our tongues speak out.
We look down in pride,
And whisper about.

But God sees it all,
And bids us to love.
He gives just reward,
And is the Great Judge.

God wants us to dwell
On things pure and good;
Not if our brother
Does all as he should.

“Lord, give us Your love,
For our brothers here;
And help us see good:
Not bring hurt and tear.”

“Lord, teach our lips,
To be kind and true;
And love each other,
As You call us to.”
