CAUTION HAZARD AREA

Do we dare to rush into an area marked HAZARD Area? Not likely that anyone would do that without the proper protective gear on their bodies. It would be a good decision to protect ourselves; an intelligent decision.

Neither do we enter areas marked, “NO ADMITTANCE.” If we did that, and even if no one saw us there, there is no telling what harm may come to us for the lack of observing the sign of warning.

As human beings we have “CAUTION” signs that we regularly do not observe as important, and we get our lives into unmanageable messes by our, should it not be said as it really is? We get our lives into messes by our unintelligent decisions.

There are many areas of life to which this condition of truth applies but I have one area in mind as I am thinking on this situation. One area to address because our Society has been so horrifically sexualized by every form of communication we have in our use. It is affecting our marriages, our children, our physical health, our souls, or minds, if you prefer; and therefore, our entire society.

When working in the hospital oftentimes I would need to go into a room where a patient was who had a serious communicable disease. There were signs on the door, the patient was in a room where the air flow did not go out into other areas. At the door there were masks, and overall clothing, covers for the head and gloves, also shoe covers and all of it was required protective gear.

It was required, but I was in an Ante-room and no one would know if I just went in, did my work and left. However, there would be the problem that I had contaminated my clothing, my lungs and skin, my hands, but it would not stop with me. Now everything I touched would be subjected to contamination. Then upon going home I would subject my family to the germs I so carelessly chose to expose myself and everyone else to by my unintelligent decision.

Laws and Rules, despite some of our current thinking, both in the Christian and non-Christian sectors, Rules are frowned upon. We can make all our own decisions, no-one is going to tell us what to do!! AND we are destroying our culture because of those ideals.

Nothing is completely physical and nothing is altogether spiritual as we live on this Earth. Those two, physical and spiritual are twined together like a rope. What we do in one part also happens in the other part of us.

Here is a hard core fact: When we decide to go into the devils “Playground Area,” or so it is presented to us as a Playground, we pick up “things” there that infect our souls, or mind, if you prefer. We might even pick up some destructive germs as well. The “things” are demons that we have UN-intelligently invited to come live with us.

That is the reason Scripture advises us to stay away from illicit or promiscuous sexual contacts. Paul informs us that “All other sins are done outside the body, but sexual sins are done TO our body. I Corinthians 6: 18

It follows, very much like a germ, that these unseen beings keep quiet for a period of time as they, being real beings, take note of our lives and set in to destroy us and our families as well. Parents have authority and to what ever they “give” themselves will also rule over their children.

It is true also of the addiction of pornography that plagues our Culture. You may be thinking, “How can that be when I am sitting in my own house with no physical contact?”

Ask Ted Bundy. (But you can’t, because Ted was executed for rapes and murders.) Read the Bible. Take note of a fact you and I live with: You GO where you are LOOKING.

We cast visions in our minds by what we see. “The eyes are the gateway to the soul.”

Be it a new house or sexual desires, we think, we envision, we plan, and then we act.  Matthew 6: 22-23

There is an interview that Ted Bundy requested by him, with Dr. Dobson just before his execution. During that interview Ted admits that he, a regular small town boy, was exposed to pornography by picking up a Playboy magazine that someone had thrown away. He got hooked. He had no idea that it would lead him to his death. It lead to the rape and murder of 6 women and Ted to execution.

Ted Bundy made a profession of faith in Jesus and during the years of his imprisonment and he operated a ministry from inside the Prison. His interview with Dr. Dobson was an effort to tell America, “Yes, I am guilty. I do not want to die and neither did the women I murdered want to die; my message is IF America does not get pornography out of her, THEN even though this offender dies, you WILL produce other Ted Bundy’s.”

All this information, these CAUTIONS are available to us in the Bible, but we choose to not read, or if we do, we ignore, and lives all around us are destroyed.

God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are REAL. The Devil and the demons are real. There are Rules and Laws, Commands made by Jesus and the Apostles, and IF we are intelligent, we will chose to adjust our lives to those PROTECTIVE COVERINGS we have been given, which are, obedience to the Word of God and the Blood of Jesus.
