Today I saw God at work in the wind in the trees
preparing the branches for brand new leaves.
Off with the old, and soon on with the new,
but for a short time there’s a naked view.
But never mind, God has a plan.
Yes, God has a plan, and likewise He does
for each woman and man whom
He plans to dress in robes of white,
stripping them down with the winds of life.
Off with the old and on with the new.
The Loving Creator loves to create;
so when things about us deteriorate
it is then, that He begins to recreate.
