Men
A man can be described by the words of his mouth. Words flowing out of his mouth can be the basis of his descriptions. What he sees and repeats often may be used to describe him. What he believes and confesses may be used also.
This was the case with the man of great destiny, Joseph, the son of Jacob. He dreamed about his future greatness and he declared the same to his older brothers and his father. He saw himself as a man to bow down to. He saw himself being the lord of his father's house.
This triggered bitter envy in the hearts of his brothers who tagged him, "the Dreamer". Was he not rightly described? Was he not a Dreamer of dreams? He was.
A dreamer was the description given to him in his father's house. To buttress this, at the point of Joseph's sale into slavery, when he appeared to think,
"And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh." Genesis 37:19. KJV
In the land of his slavery, Egypt, he became popular as an interpreter of dreams. He could not only dream and interpret it but he went further to know the interpretations of other people's dreams. It was a gift from God of his fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
He started with the interpretations of King Pharaoh's servants who were put in prison with him, the Cupbearer and the Baker. They dreamed different dreams which had different interpretations as explained to each of them by Joseph. The dreams and their interpretations came to pass exactly.
This was used to describe Joseph on the day and place of elevation, the palace of King Pharaoh in the land of Egypt. He was recommended by his Destiny Helper, the Cupbearer, by his right descriptions, the Interpreter of Dreams. He lived up to his descriptions, he was able to interpret the King's dreams correctly with adequate recommendations which the king embraced. This led to his promotion to the post of Prime Minister in the land of Egypt, descriptions of a man!
Beloved, with what are you described? Is it a fit and proper one? Can it lead to your elevation now or in the future? Therefore, think right, talk right, and act right to have a very good description to your advantage and that of the people around you. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
