In describing a man, it is possible to bring in sentiment which may colorize the description. A sincere and careful description of a man will give an accurate account of who he is. He acts according to what people see in him as well as what people say about him.

On the other hand, a man knows who he is inside out. When he exaggerates it, he knows the truth about himself. Sometimes, a man may be a stranger to himself, yet certain things are not alien to him. He can describe himself right.

One thing is certain about those who are strangers to themselves. At a point in time, they will realize who they were (are). This can be done directly by themselves or through others who can adequately show them their true pictures.

Let us consider a great man of God who once saw his wickedness as a service to the Lord his God. After he realized the truth and embraced it, he described himself thus,
"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief." 1 Timothy 1:12-13 KJV.

See how he described himself, as a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an injurious man. Who could describe him better? I think none! By the mercy of God, his eyes were opened, he r knew who he was and he declared it so.

Thanks to the Lord for the redemption of the soul of Saul who later became Apostle Paul. He sadly remembered his time of ignorance which the Lord had winked at. He regretted all his evil actions. He never went to them again.

Beloved, have you taken the time to assess or reassess yourself? Have you taken the time to describe yourself right? How was your past? Have you done away with those injurious ways of life? Have you forsaken all the old sad ways? To God be the glory Who has shown you His mercy like Apostle Paul and every Saint.

Please, describe yourself sincerely. If you are still in a way that contradicts the way of the Lord your God, turn on a new leaf and embrace the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. If He could save a man like Apostle Paul, he can save you also.

You only need to confess all your bad descriptions to Him. Let Him know that you cannot rescue yourself and He should help you out. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior forever. Let Him the whole of your heart now and forever. Make sure you obtain a copy of the Christian Highway Code, the Holy Bible. Read it regularly and obey all rules and regulations contained therein. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.

Note:
KJV is the King James Version of the Holy Bible.
