A careful analysis of Psalm one in verses one to three reveals the proper channels to live a blessed life. The roles of individuals are brought to the forefront.

In verse one is the statement that BLESSED is a certain man. Who is he?
a. He who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly. This means that you have to be careful of the people you surround yourself with. Are they people who know the Lord their God? If they are people who do not fear God, they will offer you ungodly counsel which will not be in your favor.

b. He who does not stand in the way of sinners. This means not doing what those who provoke God to anger. He does not support any act of sin
c. He does not sit with those who delight in demeaning others, belittling them, or bringing them down.

These three evil acts should be avoided to lay the foundation for being BLESSED.

In verse two it contains what a BLESSED man is interested in. It exposes what he occupies himself with. What is this? He is interested in the law of the Lord and meditating on it. He does so day and night. So he has no provision for the wicked or wickedness in his daily activities.

Beloved, as a Pilgrim, if you can position yourself well, your portion is described thus,
"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." Psalm 1:3.

May the Lord help you to position yourself to be A BLESSED ONE in the name of Jesus Christ. Remain blessed and prosperous in Jesus' mighty name. The Lord is coming soon.
