2024 A New Beginning And The Five Steps To Fulfil Gods Purpose

We have arrived 2024 – A year of New Beginnings. Why do I say that? The number 2024 equals eight, and eight prophetically represents new beginnings [Biblestudy.org]. 

In this audio, I will use God's name, Yehovah, Jesus Christ's Hebrew name; Yeshua, the Hebrew name of God's Holy Spirit, Ruach Ha-Kodesh, and share the five steps God's Holy Spirit led me through equipping me to fulfil His purpose.   

2024 is the time for some of us to enter a New Season to fulfil our God-given Purpose.

However, Yehovah will not give us an assignment we will struggle to complete. We need to be ready. In part, Paul writes in Phil 1:6, 'And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you, will bring it to completion ….'

 Yehovah prevented me from working His purpose until I was ready and worthy of His calling. I acknowledge that 2023 was my year of purification and completion, and I needed to take specific steps to qualify for the new season He has prepared for me. 

Step 1: Getting to know Him well. The only way we can honestly know Yehovah is to meditate on His word. King David said in Psalm 119:15 ESV, 'I will meditate on your [Commandments] and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your [Torah]; I will not forget your word.' Here, King David tells us that to know God, we must meditate and delight in His word.

Step 2: Prayer. We cannot get closer to Yehovah God without this 'act of worship.' It is necessary to speak with heartfelt appreciation and listen to Him. Yeshua [Jesus Christ] taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. This prayer covers everything from honour and guidance to protection.  

Step 3: Confession, repentance, forgiveness, and letting go come with uninhibited prayer. King David's prayer in Psalm 51 is a true example of this petition and ultimately leads to freedom and peace. 1 John 3:3 says, 'And every man who thus hopes in Him [meaning Jesus Christ] purifies himself as He is pure.' What does John mean by this? To hear from God and to know His purpose for our life, we must purify ourselves by repenting of all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. And freely forgive and be compassionate Ephesians 4:32. 

 No one said this would be easy because we may have suffered at the hands of those who have deeply wronged us. Nevertheless, it is simple: knowing that when we Let Go with heartfelt forgiveness, we gain more than we have lost. We can be assured that Yehovah will sustain us, Psalm 55:22. The last words in that verse say, 'he will never permit the righteous to be moved.'

 Step 4: Recognising God's voice through His Holy Spirit [the Ruach Ha-kodesh] 'The Spirit of Truth' John 16:13-15. Everything is created twice, first in thought and then in action. If we listen carefully, we will realise three voices speak: God's voice, the evil one and our internal dialogue. It is essential to know who is talking. We can only hear God's voice through His Spirit, so to know His voice is paramount to our survival.

Step 5: Relying on Yeshua, our Salvation. Taking the above steps gave me the opportunity for my God-given assignment to become reachable. But I know I cannot accomplish it alone. Yeshua said in John 15:5. 'I am the vine, and you are the Branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me, you can do nothing.' 

I hope these five steps have encouraged you and that 2024 may be your year of New Beginnings. May Yehovah God bring you into a New Season to fulfil His Purpose for your life, Ahmein.
