Let me ask you a question:
What if I told you I had a set of instructions
that would make you a better man, a better woman, a better father, a better mother, a better son, a better daughter, a better worker, a better student, a better teacher.
In fact whatever you did you would be better if you had this set of instructions and what if I told you I possessed it and what if I told you that you probably possess it too.
In fact it is probably in your own home.
In fact it is probably in your own home.
I'm talking about the Bible.
Yes, the Bible which is "the word of God which is quick and powerful, that is, it's living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing assunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
Wow!
That's I think Hebrews 4:12
This set of instructions is able actually to furnish you unto all good works.
Now, I am thinking about 2 Timothy 3:16

It says that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God (or woman of God) may be perfect thouroughly furnished unto all good works."
Now, we all like to do good works.
We want to be known for our good works don't we so that when we die and people attend our funeral they'll say that man right there or that woman right there they did a lot of good in this world while they lived.
They had a lot of good works.
And notice in that verse verse 17 of 2 Tim 3 furnished unto all good works.
Well how are we going to be furnished unto all good works?
By doctrine. By doctrine which comes from scripture which is inspired by God.
You see just dissect that verse.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, i.e. it is God inspired, written by over 40 authors over a period 1500 years
so that the Bible is above every other book which contains error.
Every book written by man contains error because it is not perfect but the Bible is perfect because it is as though it was written by God Himself.
Now he used various authors various men, prophets and others so that their personality was part of the writing.
But it was as though God was writing through them.
Just like when the apostle Paul preached
he didn't preach with words of man's wisdom.
He preached by the Holy Spirit of God so

that if you were to resist Paul you would in effect be resisting God.
But let's get back to this set of instructions which is able to make us wise unto salvation.
This set of instructions you have it in your home.
It is the Bible.
It is the Bible.
Read it.
Read it because it reveals the will of God therefore we are to do it.
It reveals the mind of God therefore we are to know it and
It reveals the heart of God therefore we are
to love it.

Obviously this author is being led by the Spirit because he is wielding the sword of the Spirit. He is also using the scriptures as they were intended, to reprove, rebuke as well as instruct in the way of righteousness. May the Lord use this vessel in a mighty way to share the truth which is Jesus, the Jesus of the Bible, to a lost and dying world.
