Communication

PedroPauloMota-Religion seems to have failed in spreading its wisdom to us. Thinking that god is something separate from us takes away our ability to trust ourselves. We think small, waiting for this “lord” to show us the way. But if we see ourselves as one with god (or infinite intelligence, or whatever we call it), we can finally stop feeling that separation, and start feeling empowered to call our own shots. There seems to be a lot of translation mistakes in the bible, where this point would’ve made more sense if communicated differently. After seeing this subtle difference, we see reality in a whole new way.

LAStreetPreacher-Christina_Cage  The fool has said in his/her heart there is no God. Did you know you must answer to your Creator on judgment day? "For as it is appointed unto man once to die but after this the judgment" Hebrews 9:27 It is the goodness of God that leas people to repentance. God is good and we are not good by nature. We are imperfect and fail miserably to keep His commandments. We need a changed heart and mind. Don't despise the truth of God's revelation as found in the Bible. God is everywhere but apparently for you He remains silent and so you say He doesn't exist. I've found Him and know Him for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) Get to know the God of holy scripture and then call upon Him to save you from your sins. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) Forsake your sins and seek to please God and not yourself as much. Life isn't easy for the true Christian but we will spend eternity next to Jesus where there is no pain, death, sickness or tears. Imagine eternal happiness. Who in their right mind wouldn't desire it?

LAStreetPreacher-caceysedona6487  We live and move and have our being in God but we are not infinite in any way. There is the myth and misunderstanding that the soul or spirit is immortal and/or infinite but everything about us had a beginning whereas God has no beginning or end. God is eternal by nature. Now Christians can become immortal once they've been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. This means they will never die the second death. They may die physically when the spirit leaves the body but these two will be reunited at the resurrection on the last day.

LAStreetPreacher-Earl said we serve people. I like to think ultimately our desire should be to serve God and the way we do that is by serving people. God must be our ultimate desire and heaven a most worthy destination.
