THE DEVIL IS AFRAID OF YOU!
Romans 8:15- 17.
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
What makes a defaulting tenant afraid of his landlord? That tenant is mostly afraid because of his landlord's power, authority and ability to eject or evict him from his property! Especially during times of hardship and unpleasant circumstances!
OUR AUTHORITY TO EVICT!
Mark.16.17 .
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out (EVICT) devils; they shall speak with new tongues; ….
Satan and his demons are terribly AFRAID of a born again Christian, filled with the Holy Spirit and power, because of our authority, power, and ability to eject, evict or cast them out in the name of Jesus Christ!
The Devil and his demons are at our mercy, and would beg us, like they begged Jesus Christ, not to torment and cast them out permanently into abyss before their time! Even though we can't cast out demons and the devil permanently before their time, however, WE CAN STILL CAST THEM OUT EVERY TIME! We also have authority to change circumstances in Jesus' name. Glory to God!
WE CAN'T BE AFRAID OF SOMEONE WHO IS AFRAID OF US!
Some Christians are afraid of the devil and demons, who are actually afraid of them.
Fear is:-
False
Evidence
Appearing
Real
The Bible is abundantly filled with lots and lots of admonitions and charges from God declaring to us, FEAR NOT, FEAR NOT, AND FEAR NOT! Fear is a distractor, dissuader, deceiver and a destroyer of God's Word and promises for our glorious destiny in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 41.10.
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
We're citizens of Heaven. We're NOT of this world, but we're in this world on a divine mission, to preach the gospel with the power and love of God. We're also to ENFORCE and MAINTAIN the victory of Jesus Christ over the devil and his cohorts, and continue destroying their works. We're here to bring souls into God's Kingdom and make disciples of them for Jesus Christ. That's how we prepare the world for the return of our Lord and Master and Savior Jesus Christ.
The power, authority and anointing to do all that has already been bestowed on us, whether we feel it on us or not. However, it must be appropriated and executed by faith in God's Word and promises. These are some promises.
John.20.21.
So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."
John.14.12.
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
Matthew 28.18 -20.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
Mark.16.15 - 18.
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
Now, the Lord Jesus Christ says to us, OCCUPY TILL I COME. GET BUSY and STAY FOCUSED. BEAR MUCH FRUIT. SUBDUE THE DEVIL, and DESTROY HIS WORKS. BRING SOULS INTO MY KINGDOM AND BRING GLORY TO THE FATHER.
