"Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus." 2 Timothy 1:13 King James Version, KJV.

In the last write-up, it is disclosed that it requires a bunch of doctrines to discover and save the soul of a lost child of God who is in the house of God, in the presence of his Father in Heaven.

Sound words of God require ideal and continual exposition to seek and save the lost in the church of God. It is a common feature of certain assemblies to hold on to a few teachings and make a religion out of such.

For instance, if there is an assembly of God's people who believe in the payment of tithes and offerings, they have to explain fully what acceptable tithes and offerings entail. It should not be taught that only its payment can make a Saint to inherit the Kingdom of God.

The payer of tithes and offerings must be acceptable before what he offers will be acceptable. Do you know that a deep teaching on the Personality involved in the payment of tithes and offerings can dig deep into the heart of a lost son or daughter of God?

Do you know that in the sacrifices or offerings of Cain and Abel in the book of Genesis chapter four in verses three to seven, it was the persons behind the offering that dictated the acceptability of what they had to offer?

Holiness and righteousness must not be jettisoned. Each of the bunch of doctrines must be well taught and understood by God's people. Only on this condition can the lost be found. If they do not understand what is taught to them, how can they take the right steps to be converted? They have to understand what they hear.

Care should be taken not to make a religion out of only one doctrine. A single teaching should not be seen or presented to His people as the only step to inherit the kingdom of God. Another wholesome teaching must be employed to seek the lost in the church.

A bunch of doctrines, like brooms, will eliminate every dirt that can cover the "lost coin". It will expose the nakedness of the heart of the fellow who is yet to know his Heavenly Father well enough to surrender his heart to Him. For decades, there have been people who are in the church but are worshipping the Lord with their sins. Not until sound teachings reveal the truth to the sinners, they will continue in them because all is well in their assessment, whereas, this is not so. Apostle Paul says "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" Hebrews 12:14.

So, no doctrines should be treated alone but must be taught along with others to bring the best out of God's people, especially those who are lost in the presence of God. A couple of doctrines will do wonders in the lives of God's people.

Therefore, beloved Pilgrim, be concerned about the total teachings of the word of God and you will assist to find those who are following the Lord but are still lost. Stay blessed and prepared for the coming of the Lord.
