When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 NIV
Can light and darkness exist together? If the light of the sun is present cannot the darkness of evil, spiritual darkness not exist within that light? The answer most assuredly is that it can. But where the Light of the world is, the love of God exists within that person, bringing to that one’s awareness the evil that is hidden within the spiritual darkness. The Holy Spirit works within the believer, working to drive out evil within, that said person may reflect the Master who lives within the heart.
