Still, many in the crowd believed in him. They said, “When the Messiah comes, will he perform more signs than this man?” John 7:31 NIV

There were those who were looking at the evidence which lay before them in attempting to determine what they believed about Jesus. They either witnessed or heard of the miracles which Jesus was performing. They heard the messages He was speaking, which differed so much from what they heard from the Jewish leaders. So, could someone perform more miracles than Jesus did or speak in such a fashion as He did? No one has done and said as much in the course of history. We all must make a decision as to whom we say Jesus is, and that decision will determine if we choose to follow in His steps or to live according to the flesh.
