At this they tried to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come. John 7:30 NIV

Several times it is mentioned that it was not yet Jesus’ time, the time for Him to go unto Jerusalem to suffer and be put to death. God made sure that all which was to face His Son would be at the proper time, and the Lord Jesus was perfectly in alignment with the will of the Father. People were not able to lay hands on Him as it was not yet His time. God’s plan will happen, each part at the appropriate time, and man can not do anything to keep it from happening according to God’s will.
