Remember Me, Oh LORD!
Maybe you have been praying for a long time concerning a particular request and it seems like God does not hear your prayers. Meanwhile, you have been seeing other people receive their breakthroughs, and you wonder why God has not done your own. In Genesis 30:1-21, Rachel faced the same situation. She had no children for her husband. Her sister had children for her husband. Even the maids in the house had children for her husband but she didn’t have any. She was frustrated to the extent that she told her husband to give her children or else she will die. She must have thought that God did not hear her prayers and was unkind and unfair to her. However, in the 22nd verse, God remembered her and opened her womb. Perhaps you are frustrated like Rachel was frustrated, I pray for you today, the same God who remembered Rachel remember you too in Jesus name.
One prayer to pray in seasons when it seems as if God does not hear your prayer is – “Remember me, Oh Lord”. You can pray like Nehemiah prayed in Nehemiah 13:31, when He said, “Remember me, O my God for good”. Or like the Psalmist prayed in Psalm 61:1 and Psalm 106:4, when he said “Hear my cry O Lord, listen to my prayer”. And “Remember me, O LORD, with the favor that you bore to your people: O visit me with your salvation”
One thing that happens for sure when God remembers you, is that your prayers would be answered, and whatever you ask for, will be granted.
God is a God that answers prayers. That is why everyone seems to go to him for help, according to Psalm 65:2. But God decides who he chooses to remember. He said in Romans 9:15, He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy and have compassion on whomever He will have compassion. I pray for you today, that God will have mercy on you and remember you for good this season and always in Jesus name.
Another thing that happens when God remembers you, is that He opens the heavens over your life. And automatically open doors for you. No matter the kind of door the enemy has shut against you, when God remembers you, it will open. Because God has all power. He opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens (Revelation 3:7). The enemy had made Rachel barren and the door to fruitfulness had been shut against her. But when God remembered her, God opened the door. I pray for you, that God will remember you for good today, grant you open heavens and open all the doors the enemy has shut against you in Jesus name.
A third thing that happens when God remembers you, is that He will reward you. He will open the book of remembrance and cause men to honour and reward you. In the book of Esther 6, God remembered Mordecai and caused King Ahasuerus to remember his good deeds, reward him and honour him (Esther 6:11; Esther 8:15). Maybe it seems all the good deeds you have been doing are un-noticed and there will be no reward for them. I want you to know, your reward is coming. God has not forgotten your good works. He is the God that Sees (El Roi) and He is not unrighteous to forget. He remains the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrew 13:8). And He will openly reward and honour you in Jesus name. If you believe, shout a loud and believing – Amen!

Prayer:
Father GOD, please remember me and answer my prayers today. While you are calling on others, remember me also and change my situation for good. I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus name.
