Right to the Point

There is nothing Godly about being in or staying in a place located on the fringes of Hell.

Nothing is gained by living where the Devil hangs out, and I am specifically speaking about homes.

In our American culture there are women who abuse their husbands physically and verbally. Statistics support that abuse is more likely, but not solely, to be the husbands who are the abusers of their wives.

Both or either of the parents are possibly abusers of the children in an atmosphere of this kind. Verbal abuse is as damaging as physical abuse. One thing is certain to be a fact that the minions of Hell are perpetuating it and enjoying every minute of everyone’s misery.

I repeat that there is nothing Godly about any kind of disrespect or abuse of any kind of anyone or anything. God has NOT called us to a life style such as this.

Before the sanctity of marriage is commented on or thought about let us be careful to include the Lord’s commands, given through Paul, that husbands love their wives as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it. And to wives that they see to respecting their husbands.

Longevity of a marriage is supposed to be “until death do us part,” but it won’t last that long in HOLY Matrimony unless the home is a nurturing home of love and respect for each individual residing there.

Discipline of self and compromise, having conversation in which everyone is permitted to voice their grievances and pains, pleasures and hopes, would give the group the respect of being heard and not of being controlled. Of course, a common agreement must be the outcome and parents the approve the plan, but everyone needs to be heard. Absolute rulership by any individual is not even what God does.

Intimidation is not from God. Disorder of any kind is not Godly. Respectful settling of problems is the right method for solving family problems.

Verbal and physical abuse of all types, used by anyone in the home creates a perfect site for the devils to hang out and work their destruction.

Those who use methods of control should not fool themselves into thinking that God has granted them abusive authority. In God’s Word it is those with the greater authority that are the primary servants of those over whom they have authority.

Jesus tells us repeated times to watch the WORDS we speak. Because words have power to create, and secondly we know each other by words because they come out of our hearts. Think on things you say to your children and your spouse, “For out of the abundance of the HEART, the mouth speaks.”

Bad words spoken, especially over children, but adults as well, cause a sense of shame and rejection. IF the belittled accepts those words as truth, and children generally do, they will become what we prophesied. Yes, we did prophesy! We speak to create good and we speak to create bad. Jesus said so.

Will the devil just ignore such a confirmation and open door to destroy that individual. Never, and the bad talker gave the devil their permission to destroy the innocent. It is serious!

There is no intention by this writer to suggest that everyone or anyone be permitted to just do any way they want to do and the rest should just suck it up and go on with life. I actually intend the very opposite.

There is a serious problem in our homes and the Church is not addressing it.

For the most part the Church teaches Ephesians Chapter 6 as the absolute model for the running of a home. I guess they don’t read ALL the chapter because IF they did they would hear Paul state that he really isn’t speaking of an earthly relationship but is using the earth marriage relationship to express HOW the Church, male and female, are to consider themselves in relationship to Jesus, Who is the Groom while all of us, male or female in the physical, are the Bride.

Paul concludes that “Never the less, let each man love his wife as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it,” and “Let each wife SEE to it that she respects her husband.

What I have been taught is that the wife is to be obedient to her husband. My husband was taught that as well. So, whatever the man does in his Castle is okay with God. Well, not so. God does not expect us to sit down under verbal and physical abuse. It is unGodly, and further it is evil.

Misrepresentation of Scripture will always create a hiddy-hole for the devil to live with you to destroy, steal, and kill. We cannot hold hands with the devil, and we are not either to approve vile behavior from the people we live with.

Abused people are controlled and depersonalized of a SELF. They acquire a broken spirit and in time they will, of necessity, find a path of endurance, maybe by excess food or the use of alcohol, maybe by drugs, maybe by mental illness, and maybe by suicide.

While generally the Inflictor feels very righteous in getting the unruly one under control as they need to be.

So we, in the Church and those not in the Church, need to smarten-up. We need to be respectful of each other even IF love is not the motivator.

This is the primary lesson I wish to present from my own experience is, IF YOU WILL, YOU MAY.”

Whether you are a male or a female, IF you continue to take abuse the Abuser will continue to abuse you.

Some people stay in relationships of abuse and die in it because the Abuser said they “loved” them.

Some abused people lose it after too many years of abuse and kill the Abuser.

Some people finally get smart enough to understand, “There is no love in the abusive behavior.”

Abusers are all alike. They abuse until they see you intend to make a change, then they cry and beg, they plead for forgiveness and vow never to do it again. IF you relent and return to the relationship they are good for a few weeks, until everything is back as usual, and they begin the abuse all over again. It is a non-ending cycle.
