God The Justifier of those Who Believe in Christ

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 KJV).

“Being Justified freely by his grace through that redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” (Romans 3:24 KJV)

“Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God:” (Romans 3:25 KJV)

“To declare, I say at this time his righteousness; that he might be just and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” (Romans 3:26 KJV)

In John chapter 8 verse three “the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him (Jesus), a woman taken in adultery and when they had set her in the midst,” “They say unto him Master this woman was taken in adultery in the very act,” (John 8:4). They asked Jesus what he believed should be the woman's punishment for committing adultery. They tempted him by saying that in the law Moses said to stone her (John 8: 5-6 KJV). “[...]But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not,” (John 8:6). In verse seven of John chapter 8, they keep asking Jesus for his answer, then Jesus lifts himself up and says, “he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” He wrote on the ground again, (John 8:8). And the woman's accusers became convicted of their sins and one by one began to leave until there was no one left save Jesus and the woman (John 8:9-10). “[...] Woman where are those thine accusers; hath no man condemned thee?” (John 8:10). “She said No man, Lord, And Jesus said unto her neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more,” (John 8:11).

None of us have room to cast stones at each other. We are all sinners saved by grace. It is through Christ and not our good behavior that we are saved and have been brought into right standing and fellowship with God our Father.

Father God, I pray we strive to live in peace and love our fellow man as you have loved and forgiven us. Lakella loves the Lord.
