Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Phil 4:4-9 ESV
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3 ESV
Are you obeying God’s word offered in our verses today? He is clearly telling us how to experience His peace in all situations. All we need to do is to meditate on our verses and do as they say.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27 ESV
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Phil 3:15 ESV
Will today be the day that we finally trust God and allow His peace to rule in our hearts, no matter our situation? Or, will we continue to allow fear, worry and discontentment to rule? The choice is ours. God’s promise and desire is clear, that we choose His peace that leads to abundant life.
Don’t let go of this message until His peace rules. Read it, meditate on it, do it, receive His peace.
I am praying that you finish this life strong in the faith, always choosing to trust God’s word from this day forward, not just reading, but doing. Please pray for me too.
