His Mercies Are New Every Morning

I have always been curious about the different ways God speaks. I do know, He speaks through His word, while we pray, worship and even through others. Today morning, I was amazed with the way He spoke to me right after I said," Jesus what do want to say to me today". And after that, I sang a line from a particular song and I had no idea that the Lord was telling me something through that. The song was " I will sing of the Mercies of the Lord forever". After I sang that line and to my surprise, the first part of a Bible verse that popped up when I opened Bible was of the song, Psalm:89:1 -  "I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations". Honestly, I am moved by His instant response to my simple prayer.

Let's rewind and try to remember, how did God move the mountains for us and how tender are His mercies and faithfulness towards us. I will share something that I experienced when I was waiting for a breakthrough. This might sound little absurd for some, believe me, it was for me too till I heard God confirm to me what He was doing. I was lying down on my couch praying, declaring His promises and out no of where I fell into a trans or saw a vision( I looked so realistic to me ). I started feeling my legs go up in the air and I couldn't bring it down. It was like half of my body was in some other control. While I was battling to bring my legs down, I heard a line" Let go". But I was so afraid to experience something like this for the first time. I resisted some much and I woke up. My heart was raising and I couldn't understand what it was. Later that week during Church service, a friend of mine came to me and said she saw shackles on my feet which were so thick, broken into pieces. At that time, I realized It was God who was trying to break the shackles of my feet the other day when I went into trans or had a vision. Even though it was a dramatic experience, He wanted me to let go and rest while He does His work. Many times, when we pray we ask God to take control and yet we resist. But He always pours of His mercies, goodness and faithfulness irrespective of the times we resist. He never abandons us. Because He knows and loves how we seek His face first in our lives. He loves how we run to Him even for the little things.

When we ponder through this verse, all we can think of are the goodness, faithfulness and loving kindness of God shown towards us. He has done so many wonders in our lives that are hidden by our present burdens or worries. We fail to remember how much He loves us and how possible is it for God to move any mountain before us.. He made a way for us when there was no way. He proved His tender mercies never dry out. It's fresh every morning.

We have seen His mercies poured on us and His faithfulness as an act of putting God first in our lives. His mercies are new every morning. He gives us that extra boost to keep us going even when we feel dismayed. he assures us His love will carry us through. So let's proclaim His never ending mercies and faithfulness to others and be that ambassadors of that. Even if anyone hasn't been able to spend time with Jesus or gone away from Him. He will never push us away, instead He waits for us to come back to Him. So make time for Jesus and put Him first and then you will see His move so evident in your life.

God bless.
