1.    Mercy will open doors of grace and favour to you. It will lead you to grace and favour.

You shall arise, and have mercy on Zion: for the time to favour her, yes, the set time, is come - Psalm 102:13

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16

But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison – Genesis 39:21

2.    Mercy will shield you from destruction

“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23.

3.    Mercy shields you from God’s anger

“Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.” Micah 7:18-19.

4.    Mercy will revive you

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) – Ephesians 2:4-5

5.    Mercy will save you from Sin

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin – Psalm 51:1-2

6.    Mercy will restore you

"I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back; for I have mercy on them; and they will be as though I had not cast them off: for I am Yahweh their God, and I will hear them – Zechariah 10:6

7.    Mercy will open doors for your healing

“O LORD,” I prayed, “have mercy on me. Heal me, for I have sinned against you.” – Psalm 41:4

8.    Mercy will give you God’s attention

Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.  And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him,  saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?” – Luke 18:35-41

9.    Mercy will give you answered prayers and your desired breakthrough

Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him,  saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.”  Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.”  And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God. – Luke 18:35-43

 10.  Mercy gives you a blank cheque opportunity before God
