King Of The Jews

Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. John 19:19-20 NIV

Well, Pilate at least got to do one thing he wanted, trying to throw back at the Jewish leaders that they wanted their king killed. Pretty small win though for Pilate.

Jesus certainly was the king of the Jews, but He is so much more than that. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There will come a day when every voice under the heavens and in the heavens, both living and dead will give praise and glory to the name of Jesus Christ! Lift your voices and your hearts in praise and worship to Him!!
