I keep hearing people say they feel lost
Yet don’t want to believe in the one who paid the cost
They’d rather wander aimlessly with a hole in their heart
Instead of turn to the truth for a fresh start

Bickering and complaining seems to be their game
Wallowing in their self pity doing things that bring them shame
It’s sad to witness these people spend their days this way
Continuously depressed with their mentalities getting slayed

A lot of the issues are self inflicted
The problems pouring in without restrictions
They don’t hesitate to take another sip
However you can’t find any solutions after the last drip

All these things they try to substitute in to fill the gap
Digging themselves deeper being held firmer in the traps
When will these people remove themselves from the haze
So that they can see their pathway clearly to get out of the maze
