Over the years we develop memories through experience
Remembering some better than others leaves us curious
Literally everything changes as time passes, but they remain
A fond aspect we can use to ensure our knowledge receives gains

Learning from mistakes is at the core of our pathway
Looking back to what we’ve done before to improve each day
The sad thing is even the good times fade
Considering any relationship is susceptible to decay

Those we once held close can alter their personality
Utilizing aspects they may have once denied from their mentality
Embracing things that initially weren’t on the radar
Only to throw your view of them completely off guard

In those instances it can be tough to move away
Considering the goals you may share trying to make you stay
Nothing is worth ignoring the toxicity that may result
Especially if you feel that person is full of insults

Allowing yourself to break free is always the best choice
Your future will be thankful and thoroughly rejoice
No matter how strong your bond may have once been
The beliefs you carry outweigh the stressful regimen
