Freedom feels so much better after a big weight is lifted
True colors revealing themselves as if it was gifted
Allowing you the knowledge to step away
Making for the future to contain better days

Lots of people assume what they do secretly is unknown
As if they’re getting away with a crime that isn’t condoned
Yet, little do they know they aren’t as clever as they think
Only making themselves look foolish as their decency spirals down the sink

Falsity at the core of acts that these people tend to do
Which is extremely odd since they try to portray themselves as true
Nothing that they’ve done in relation is at all pure
Trying to be slanderous has never produced a cure

It’s a shame that some people we once knew to be kind
Get corrupted so deep that it infects their entire insides
Looking back on the things that were shared
It makes you wonder if they ever actually cared
