There are multitudes of Christian denominations in the world today. Our focus as Christians is not to be how we differ among denominations, but that which we share in common. Christians believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God, that He came to earth, conceived through a virgin birth, and that He died for our salvation, arose from the dead, and ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.,

Jesus prayed that we would be one, one body united in Him. If we do not act in a manner showing unity in our belief in Jesus Christ, how can we ever expect to share the Good News. People will ignore if they do not see love amongst Christians.

Christ also prayed that we would be one with the Father and with Him, so that the world would know that the Father sent the Son. Please do not focus on differences among Christian denominations but rather on the fact that we are all truly the body of Christ.

Keep in mind that Christ’s praying for us here came as He was heading to the garden where He would be arrested, tried, then crucified. He was not thinking of the fate that lay before Him at this moment, but the well-being and salvation of those who are His.
