I Protected Them

While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled. John 17:12 NIV

While Jesus was on planet earth He protected the disciples as they were the ones who would carry the message to the world upon the Lord’s departure. He protected 11 of the 12, the one missing being Judas, who scripture had foretold would betray the Lord. Jesus is the Good Shepherd, who protects and leads His sheep. The Holy Spirit was sent to indwell the disciples as they preached the Good News, assisting in the growth of the early church.

Jesus wants to be your Good Shepherd and guide you as you perform kingdom work for Him. Give Him praise and glory for sending the Holy Spirit to you. You have been chosen to share with the world the only Truth that exists, the Truth of Jesus Christ!
