The bear Vs a Fool

"Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet

a man, rather than a fool in his folly."

Proverbs 17:12 (KJV)

I was just wondering what would happen if ever what is said in the first statement in the above verse would actually be a practical scenario? The man would be ripped apart by the mother bear, for she is mad at losing her babies and thus every suspect would be brutally death with. However the writer mentions that this is not the worst scenario, rather the folly of a fool is more deadly. I know a person who never talks sense, it is as if he’s got the gift of torturing others with non-stop senseless talk. The writer compares this as more troublesome than the probably instant death by the hands (it could be teeth also) of a mother bear.

This also reminds me of the natural death which one day will happen instantly and the eternal death in hell which will be unending. Whereas the pain of death in this mortal life is temporary and momentary, the misery of eternal death is unending. It is too scary even to imagine the writhing’s of this destiny.

Let not the scary hell push us to heaven, but rather may the beauty of Christ attract us to an eternal blissful abode with our Savior King.
