We need to stop being a wayside believer (open for everyone and everything), for the devil knows our casual approach to the Word and thus in no time he will snatch away the Word from us.

We also need to stop being a stony believer, for the harshness of our heart will not allow the Word to grow fully and when the sun (trials and sorrows of life) beat hot and heavy upon us, we will be shattered for lack of the Word.

We need to move our existence away from the thorny dwellings, for they shall never allow the Word to do its best in our life.

We need to be the good ground, well prepared and set apart, expectantly waiting for the Word and when it falls, we need to produce fruit, maybe a hundredfold, maybe sixty, maybe thirty, but we should never be fruitless.

The Word has a purpose and this should be accomplished in my life.
