Overcoming Everything With Which The Devil Will Adverse

 

You make a way, yet when we pray,

And You teach us the ways of life

Do not worry but only pray,

Life has its share of harmony and strife

 

Pray for others and you will be healed,

That’s yet one more fact of life,

The divine peace which come from this,

Will actually make you thrive.

 

God wants us to pray and pray with love,

And to be in one accord with Him and all,

He seeks our welfare at all times,

And to keep us away from every fall.

 

The devil may try a thousand ways,

To break us down and to destroy,

Yet we will overcome all his trials,

When the virtue of prayer we shall employ.

 

A victorious soul we shall ever be,

When in constant prayer with the Lord we shall converse,

More than a conqueror we shall be,

Overcoming everything with which the devil Will adverse.
