Christ In Us – The Hope Of Glory

 

Is it a power struggle to keep oneself holy?

An attempt to restrain the devil by our own strength,

We seek strength from God to become more powerful, to combat the enemy.

Yet, if only we could understand that the one whom we desire to win over is already a defeated enemy.

The cross has paid for all our sins, for all our sickness and for all that the devil ever held against us.

Christ has won the victory and given us a new identity.

Our only purpose now is to know God and to enjoy Him daily even until eternity.

Temptations, sickness, pain and as we bring all these to Him in earnest faithful prayer - this is part of knowing Him and enjoying Him as He leads us with deliverances, healings and miraculous provisions.

Christ in us – the hope of glory (Colossians 1: 27) – Now and forevermore.
