Because I’m In My Father’s Hands

A small child’s narration of the Red sea crossing: (An imaginative illustration)

“I was very excited when we started from Egypt as I was safe in my father’s hands, but my father seemed much worried thinking about where we shall go and what shall happen to us.

When we reached the red sea, I was very happy to see the vast sea and excited to go near it, there was no fear as such in my heart, for I was safe in my father’s hand, but my father seemed much worried thinking how we shall cross this red sea.

Then I heard the sound of many horses galloping very fast towards us when the Egyptians were chasing us, I loved horses and thus very excitedly was waiting to see them, for they could never harm me, for I was in my father’s arms, yet  I don’t know why my dad look much worried.

Later when Moses divided the red sea, I became even more excited and witnessed the first stand-alone aquarium, I wanted to go and see it from much close, for I knew I was safe in my father’s hands, yet my father seemed worried thinking whether we will be able to cross the red sea.

When finally we had crossed the red sea and were on the other side, the divided waters came together and swallowed all our enemies and I was not a bit afraid, for I was safe in my father’s hands.

This is what I told my dad “Dad, you should be like me-no worries, because I’m in your hands.” My Dad then realized that all through the exodus he had unnecessarily worried, for all the time he was always safe in ‘God the Father’s hands’

If ever you feel afraid or worried, take my advice, jump into your Father’s hands as I always do.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.””
