The Evil One Will Work To Trick Us

The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. John 13:2 NIV

Satan is at work against those who belong to Christ. He will do anything to trick us into being lax about doing that which Christ asks of us. Do you have a fear about stepping out to do something which Christ asks of you to build His body up? Do you have some things in your life which are idols and hinder your ability to serve God as He would ask you? I ask God to help me to be aware of these idols and to tear them away from me that I may serve Him and not allow anything to get in the way of doing so. Pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit. Pray that fear be removed from you that you may step out and serve Christ just as He would have you do.
