Passover Draws Nigh

When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, many went up from the country to Jerusalem for their ceremonial cleansing before the Passover. They kept looking for Jesus, and as they stood in the temple courts they asked one another, “What do you think? Isn’t he coming to the festival at all?” John 11:55-56 NIV

The Passover was drawing nigh, and thus many headed from the country side up to Jerusalem to perform the cleansing ritual in order that they might partake of the Passover. Many had heard of all the wonderous works Jesus had performed and about His teachings. Thus, many went to the court area of the temple, looking to see and hear Jesus. Not finding Him there, some began to wonder if He would show up at all.

Do you ever wonder if Jesus is with you? If you belong to Christ, He lives within you through the indwelling Holy Spirit. It is very important to take time daily to be in His presence, to recognize that He lives with you, and to praise and worship Him. In this you shall find joy and peace, that which the world cannot provide.
