Another Place To Share Good News

Therefore Jesus no longer moved about publicly among the people of Judea. Instead he withdrew to a region near the wilderness, to a village called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples. John 11:54 NIV

Jesus’ time to suffer had not yet come. With the plot now in full affect to take His life, He and the disciples were no longer free to move about the cities of Judea to share the Good News. They needed some place different now to be their abode, so they encamped near Ephraim. Jesus would still share the Good News, but it would not be as openly as in the past.

Today Jesus lives in the hearts of those who belong to Him. There are many whose minds and hearts are closed to the Truth and will not accept it. Our mission is to share the words of truth with those we meet. We are to pray for all that hearts may be touched and many would turn their lives over to Jesus.
