Many times we lay in wait for the next step
Allowing ourselves to sink to great depths
Time still moving forward as we move back
Wondering when it is our life will get on the right track

Many questions arise throughout the days
Instead of solutions being implemented to light the way
All the discrepancies creating a darkness that looms
While we remain stagnant awaiting the impending doom

There is a purpose for us all
None of us are meant to fall
There are answers that give grace
A pure truth to elevate us to a grand place

The masses tend to remain flat in their thoughts
Choosing something that leaves them all distraught
Nothing of substance seems to be taught anymore
As these trends leave everyone only wanting more

So many out there hunger and thirst
Yet they choose to consume the absolute worst of the worst
There is a poison that many allow to seep into their brain
Creating a plague that induces a plethora of strain

This wasn’t what was meant to be
It isn’t why we’re supposed to be free
The gift wasn’t meant for use to deny
It was intended to help us fly

No day is ever guaranteed
So focus on what it is you actually need
We need to disintegrate the greed
So that love can once again take the lead
