As Jesus Did, So Should We

God has always related Himself to them who seek Him with all their heart and endeavor to fulfill His will.

“But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.”

Luke 8:21 (NKJV)

Does this not call for us to transform ourselves to be hearers and doers of His Word so we may belong to Him and continuously receive as a branch the newness of life which comes from its vine.  

And also as Jesus did, so should we always try to associate ourselves with them who are not just hearers of the Word of God but doers also.

It does matter a lot with whom we associate with, for they for sure have an impact on our personality.

Being related to the rightfully Spiritual people will help us grow spiritually and in His blessed Word.

“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; “

Romans 12:10-11

The Lord has called us to a blessed calling, to a calling of love and affection towards others and encouraging others to grow.

The world today has become much selfish and all its thoughts and ways are for personal gains first, consideration for others seems to be something out of fashion and off the trend.

“Me and mine, should first be fine,

Will try to help others when I have time.”

This is probably the famous slogan these days..

Christ gave His all for us and expects us too to be the same, may we come true to His expectations always.
