The Father Loves The Son

 “The Father loves me because I sacrifice my life so I may take it back again.” John 10;17 NLT

The Father has always loved the Son and they have always been in one accord. Here Christ tells us that the Father loves the Son as the Son freely gives His life and receives it back again. Christ died for all the sin of mankind yet was raised to life on the third day. Jesus had human emotions, even asking the Father if it was His will that the cup of suffering be taken away from the Son. And yet He said that it must be the will of the Father. The Son always did as directed by the Father and fulfilled the plan of salvation which the Father had created through the Son for those who came to the Son.

Jesus loves you more than you can know. He freely gave His life that you might have salvation through Him. What a true showing of love!
