Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. John 10:7 NIV

Because the Pharisees were not understanding what He told them, He begins here by saying very truly, magnifying the importance of that which He would say. And He lets them know that He is the gate for the sheep. Jesus is the One through whom we must enter in order to pass through from a soul that is spiritually dead to one that has been awakened to the calling of God. To the one who belongs to Christ is given the Holy Spirit, to indwell and direct the believer to the works of Christ and obedience to His will. The Holy Spirit is provided to the believer by the Heavenly Father as a gift to the one who believes in the Son.

Share the Good News with others that Christ may come into their hearts and show them the gate that leads to eternal life.
