Lord, I want a sin pass? I’m not about to pretend.
I’d like a route with no consequences at the end.
I’d love a route to be Heaven bound, without the narrow path.
Want to be “Your sheep” with no thoughts of Your rod and staff.
But it’s not about what I want, but the God I serve.
When I truly trust Him, He’ll help me not to swerve.
If sin wasn’t an issue, Jesus wouldn’t of had to die.
He left His throne, to give me the chance to qualify.
To have an eternal relationship with the Lord,
How do I get that? By admitting I am flawed.
The Creator crucified by us, His creation,
His love for mankind, His only orchestration.
My choice, to keep on sinning and rely on His grace,
Or completely turn my life around and finish the race.

This poem was originally inspired by a sermon, but completed with my own belief about the God I serve. He will give you endless chances this side of eternity, but once you die, your fate is sealed. We’re all looking for that pass to do what we want, when we want to, but if take it we’re looking at eternity in hell. The “satantic creed is simply – scarily “My will be done.”
Even the things we think we’ve got away with – God sees our hearts. He knows if we are truly sorry for what we have done or whether we are just giving Him or others lip service.
“You are stubborn. In your hearts you are not sorry for your sins. You are storing up anger against yourself. The day of God’s anger is coming. Then His was of judging fairly will be shown. God will give to each person in keeping with what he has done”
