I'm sorry when I take repentance as a given.
I took grace for granted. Do I think I'm forgiven?!!
I still have my claws stuck so deep in worldly pleasures.
What do I think my soul is worth? How dare I measure?
Tomorrow isn't guaranteed, but eternity is!
Why do I not cling to God's hand, when I was once His?
I need to be Christ dependent, not self reliant.
My Lord wants me to make a forever alliance.
Our God is a gentleman. He will never use force.
Jesus went to the cross, so we might avoid sins curse!
This is the reality of my good Father's love.
Sent His son to die for us! This is love from above!
A love incomprehensible to human logic.
He died for all. The alcoholic. The agnostic.
He made the huge sacrifice so everyone could see.
It's up to you and me. Who's child do we want to be?
